Al-Kharafi dominates Kuwaiti Show Jumping League

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 7: Kuwait Equestrian Club’s rider, Ali Al-Kharafi, secured a significant triumph, seizing the top spot in the Kuwaiti Show Jumping Equestrian League. Al-Kharafi clinched the title in the third round held at the Hunting and Equestrian Club track. As the reigning champion from the past two league editions, he dominated the main event, “the Grand Prix,” with a flawless performance at a challenging height of 140 cm. Al-Kharafi completed the differentiation round in an impressive time of 33.72 seconds, without incurring any penalty points. Following him were Yara Al-Hunaidi, Abdullah Al-Awadi, and Abdullah Al-Roudhan.

The crowning ceremony, officiated by Masoud Hayat, President of the Kuwait Equestrian Federation, Hamad Al-Musaybih from Zain Telecommunications Company, and Safyan Buqmaz, Administrative Director of the Kuwait Equestrian Federation, honored the triumphant riders.

Ali Al-Kharafi’s success extended across multiple heights, claiming first place at 135 cm and 130 cm. Meanwhile, female jockey Nadia Al-Mutawa secured the top position at a height of 125 cm.

The refereeing committee, led by Nadhar Al-Mustafa and including Raghad Al-Dabbous, Lama Abdel-Aal, and Abdulaziz Al-Ajeel, ensured fair play. The track design was entrusted to Samir Al-Jaweed, with assistance from Ghadeer Nemati. Court referees Yaqoub Al-Nasrallah and Sami Al-Barak played pivotal roles in overseeing the competition.
