KUWAIT CITY, Jan 4: Kuwaiti riders delivered standout performances at the conclusion of the fourth edition of the Ghaseel Show Jumping Championship, held at the Kuwait Equestrian Center, with the participation of riders from Kuwait as well as several Arab and European countries.
The opening day saw Anaz Al-Anaz capture first place in the Grand Prix event at a height of 140cm, while Mohammad Al-Mulaifi topped the Medium Prize class at 130cm. Mohammad Ghaloom claimed victory in the Small Prize category at 115cm.
On the second day, Ali Al-Kharafi continued the strong Kuwaiti showing by winning the Grand Prix at 140cm. Aws Al-Tanak secured first place in the Medium Prize class at 130cm, while Mohammad Al-Rifai triumphed in the Small Prize event at 120cm.
The final day featured victory for British rider Chad Fellows, who won the Grand Prix at 145cm. Madi Al-Khamis claimed the Medium Prize title at 135cm, while rising star Al-Joud Al-Sabah took top honors in the Small Prize class at 120cm.
Rider Saleh Al-Musallam said the championship reflects Ghaseel’s commitment to community engagement.
“Over the past 10 years, Ghaseel has become the most widely used car-wash service platform in Kuwait. We have focused on supporting the community, particularly small businesses, through partnerships that help them expand their reach. From this same belief that support makes a difference, the fourth edition of the international show jumping championship was held with a strong public turnout,” he said.
