Al-Khabizi clinches victory at the Sahara Equestrian Championship in Kuwait

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 19: Veteran rider Khalid Al-Khabizi of Al-Said & Equestrian Club was crowned champion at the Sahara Equestrian Center Tournament, held at the Sahara Equestrian Resort in Subhan, featuring top riders from local clubs.

Al-Khabizi claimed first place in the main sixth round at 130 cm, completing the course in 39.63 seconds with zero penalty points after a jump-off. He was followed by Fawaz Al-Subaie, Amer Al-Shatti, Nick Channing, Abdullah Al-Eiban, and Saleh Al-Tabtabaei.

In the fifth round at 120 cm, Nick Channing finished first, ahead of Mohammed Al-Mulaifi, Salem Al-Wuhaib, Mosaad Al-Shaibi, Ghazi Al-Faleej, and Abdulrahman Al-Fazea.

Female rider Dalal Safar took top honors in the fourth round at 110 cm, followed by Hussein Al-Kharafi, Lagos Sicsay, Ali Al-Sayegh, Abdulaziz Al-Ajeel, and Sheikha Al-Khalaf.

Talal Al-Anjari won the third round at 100 cm, ahead of Hamad Al-Shammari, Ryan Al-Omari, and Sabah Al-Sabah.

In the beginner category, with heights between 60 and 80 cm, many riders successfully cleared the obstacles without penalties, reflecting strong participation across the competition.
