Al-Kazemi: Equestrian League to begin November 6

KUWAIT CITY, Sept. 13: Kuwait Equestrian Federation Vice President and international rider Shaker Jamal Al-Kazemi said preparations for the 2026-27 season are complete, which will feature a packed program of local and international competitions.

Al-Kazemi said the sixth edition of the domestic league will get underway on November 6, with the fifth and final round scheduled for April 16 next year.

The season’s first international competition is set for November 19-21, with international events continuing through February and attracting riders from Kuwait and several other countries.

The first local competition will be held on October 2 as part of preparations for the domestic league.

Meanwhile, international rider Ali Jassem Al-Khorafi achieved a historic milestone last season by winning the domestic league title for the fifth consecutive year. His remarkable achievement was a testament to his efforts, as well as the Kuwait Equestrian Club's management and the support of those who helped him reach and stay at the top.
