Al-Jariwi applauds Kuwait’s equestrian success on the global stage

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 19: Equestrian luminary Ghazi Al-Jariwi, a standout figure in both the Kuwait Club and the national equestrian team, affirmed Kuwait’s triumphant hosting of the inaugural season of the international show jumping equestrian championships. This historic event took place on Marina Beach and garnered a warm reception from enthusiasts of the noble sport within and beyond Kuwait’s borders. The prestigious tournament was proudly sponsored by Kuwait International Bank.

Reflecting on the successful culmination of the third and final tournament, Al-Jariwi expressed gratitude, stating, “Thanks be to God, Kuwait has showcased its organizational prowess by hosting a series of international competitions on Marina Beach. The sandy terrain was transformed into a comprehensive sports arena, fully equipped to welcome riders and fans from far and wide. The construction and preparation of the arena, barriers, spectator seating, VIP platform, and viewing platforms overlooking the sea were carried out under the careful supervision of the International Equestrian Federation.”

Al-Jariwi commended the efforts of the tournament’s organizing entity, “SAFEX,” a company with a longstanding reputation in sports event management, led by CEO Ahmed Al-Hazami and the company’s CEO Ahmed Al-Majed.

In conclusion, Ghazi Al-Jariwi asserted that the international tournaments left a positive and lasting impression on Kuwaiti attendees. The national team’s riders showcased their prowess by securing top-five positions in the Grand Prix round.
