KUWAIT CITY, Feb 4: Dean of Kuwaiti Journalism and Editor-in-Chief of Al-Seyassah and Arab Times newspapers Ahmed Al-Jarallah had a meeting with Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kuwaiti Association for the Prevention of Family Disintegration Khalid Khalaf Al-Mutairi at his office on Wednesday, reports Al-Seyassah daily. Captain Abdulaziz Al-Mukhaizeem accompanied Al-Mutairi. According to Al-Mutairi, the visit aims to strengthen media cooperation with the association and its role in supporting community issues.

He explained the nature of the work of the association and its role in promoting the stability of Kuwaiti families and preventing family disintegration. He affirmed the importance of the media as a major partner in supporting the mission of the association by covering its activities and events in order to raise family awareness. He also stressed the need to showcase awareness initiatives and articles that contribute to promoting the culture of family cohesion in society. He stated that “cooperation with national media institutions helps in conveying the message of the association to various segments of society, while enhancing its preventive and awareness-raising role.”

Meanwhile, Ahmed Al-Jarallah confirmed that supporting the mission and objectives of the association is the duty of all national media institutions, noting the importance of its role in serving Kuwaiti society and its efforts in promoting family stability and addressing social issues. Deputy Editor-in-Chief Suleiman Al-Jarallah was also present at the meeting. Moreover, Al-Jarallah met with businessman Hamad Al-Wazzan on the same day. Al-Wazzan visited to congratulate him on his safe return from medical treatment abroad. Al-Wazzan expressed his wishes for continuous health and well-being and his appreciation for Al-Jarallah’s distinguished media career and the prominent national role he had been playing throughout decades of service in the fields of journalism and media. Al-Jarallah, in turn, highly valued this kind gesture from his friend, Al- Wazzan, thanking him for his visit, which underscored the depth of human relations and the spirit of social cohesion that characterizes Kuwaiti society.
