Governor of the Capital Sheikh Abdullah Salem Al-Ali, Dean of Kuwaiti Journalism and Editor-in-Chief of Al-Seyassah and Arab Times newspapers Ahmed Al-Jarallah, Ahmad Al-Aqab and colleague Mohammad Al-Farhan.
KUWAIT CITY, Sept 6: Dean of Kuwaiti Journalism and Editor-in-Chief of Al-Seyassah and Arab Times newspapers Ahmed Al-Jarallah visited the Governor of the Capital Sheikh Abdullah Salem Al-Ali, accompanied by Ahmad Al-Aqab and colleague Mohammad Al-Farhan. During the visit, a number of service related issues were discussed, along with ongoing efforts to address these issues.
They also talked about the role of the media in highlighting these issues to realize the aspiration of citizens to expedite the completion of service projects. The Governor affirmed his commitment to follow up all matters concerning the governorate and the needs of its district, as well as his constant communication with the concerned authorities to identify and address various requirements and observations, thereby, contributing to the improvement of services and realization of the ambitions of citizens. He commended the responsiveness of the concerned government agencies to the needs of the governorate, particularly the cooperation of officials regarding the observations and needs presented by the governorate, and their commitment to address these needs promptly using the available resources.
He also confirmed that security and traffic matters are at the forefront of topics, with ongoing follow up and coordination through meetings and communication with the security and traffic authorities in order to guarantee security and safety, while addressing traffic issues and improving traffic flow in the governorate. He stressed the importance of fieldwork and communication with relevant authorities, indicating that coordination among state institutions are essential for expediting the resolution of service-related issues and raising the level of services provided to the residents of the governorate.
Meanwhile, Al-Jarallah commended the efforts of the Governor and his commitment to follow up issues concerning citizens, while underscoring the importance of continuous communication between officials and the media. He said this communication contributes to determining the needs of the community and highlighting the efforts exerted by official bodies to better serve the citizens. He affirmed the vital role of the media in shedding light on local issues and keeping pace with service and development initiatives, thereby, strengthening communication between state institutions and the community and supporting efforts aimed at improving services.
