KUWAIT CITY, May 20: Dean of Kuwaiti Journalism and Editor-in-Chief of the Al-Seyassah and Arab Times newspapers Ahmed Al-Jarallah, met with Georgian Ambassador to Kuwait Noshrevan Lomtatidze, at his office on Wednesday, reports Al-Seyassah daily. They discussed ways to enhance the role of the media in supporting bilateral relations and exchanging media expertise between the two sides. This exchange aims to convey an accurate picture of shared issues and strengthen communication and understanding between the two friendly nations. Al-Jarallah underscored the importance of professional and responsible media in all platforms, as well as in solidifying relations between countries and peoples. He stressed that the media is an effective tool for raising awareness, promoting dialogue, and highlighting positive efforts that serve common interests. He commended the Georgian Embassy for supporting media cooperation and its commitment to maintain continuous communication with media institutions, as such as move enhances coordination and understanding on various issues between the two sides.
On the other hand, Ambassador Lomtatidze expressed his gratitude to Al-Jarallah for the warm welcome, praising the influential role of Kuwaiti media and its credibility and presence. He affirmed his embassy’s commitment to support media cooperation and strengthen partnership with the Kuwaiti media, which serves bilateral relations and reflects the positive image between the two countries and their peoples. Also present at the meeting were Managing Editor of the Arab Times Marlon Aquino Malinao and colleague Mohammed Al-Farhan.
