Al-Jarallah: Al-Seyassah, Arab Times can play vital role to boost Kuwait, Canada ties

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 16: Canadian Ambassador to Kuwait Tara Scheurwater met with Dean of Kuwaiti Journalism and Editor-in-Chief of Al-Seyassah and Arab Times newspapers Ahmed Al-Jarallah at the Dar Al-Seyassah Office on Monday. After an exchange of pleasantries, both parties discussed the role of diverse media forms in fostering cultural exchange between nations, as well as various media-related issues of mutual interest. They underscored the need for a balanced and professional media narrative that accurately depicts the state of international relations.

Al-Jarallah highlighted the significance of the ongoing bilateral relations between Kuwait and Canada in all sectors. He affirmed the crucial function of the press in “bringing peoples closer, no matter how far apart they might be.” He said the Al-Seyassah and Arab Times newspapers are ready to collaborate with the Canadian Embassy to strengthen the ties between the two friendly countries and their people.

She stated that this highlights the position of the media as a vital partner in supporting international relations and strengthening the bond of friendship between peoples.
