RIYADH, Sept 15: Al Hilal begins its 2025-2026 AFC Elite Champions League campaign tonight with a home clash against Al Duhail at Kingdom Arena.

The Riyadh giant heads into the game with renewed confidence under new coach Simone Inzaghi, determined to claim all three points and make an early statement in their bid to reclaim the title. The team also hopes to bounce back after last season’s disappointing finish.

According to Saudi daily Al-Yaum, Al Hilal’s squad for the match includes three fresh additions: Marcos Leonardo, Yusuf Aktisisc, and Matteo Botlimi.

Leonardo was registered for the Elite Champions League squad but left out of the Saudi Pro League roster due to the foreign-player quota. At the same time, Aktisisc and Botlimet joined during the summer transfer window.

Al Hilal warmed up for the continental showdown with a 2-2 draw against Qadsia in the Saudi Pro League on Saturday — their final rehearsal before facing Al Duhail.
