Officials cut the ceremonial cake.

KUWAIT CITY, June 10: The former president of Al-Qadisiya  Club and the Football Association, Fawaz Al-Hasawi, hosted a ceremony to honor the Al-Qadisiya Club's first football team for winning the Amir Cup at his residence in the Yarmouk area. Numerous Yellow Castle supporters, including the President of the Kuwaiti Olympic Committee, the former President of the Kuwaiti Football Federation, and the esteemed former President of Al-Qadisiya Club, Sheikh Dr. Talal Al-Fahad attended the event. Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Qadisiyah Club, Sheikh Fahad Talal Al-Fahad, also participated in the ceremony, joining Al-Hasawi in honoring the players and the administrative and technical staff.

On the sidelines of the celebration, Al-Hasawi recognized the Al-Qadisiya Club Fans Association for their efforts and support of the club's various teams throughout the sports season.

In his opening remarks, Al-Hasawi welcomed all the guests, congratulating the team on winning the prestigious cup. He acknowledged that the victory was somewhat delayed and expressed hope that this achievement would mark the return of the Yellows to their accustomed successes and championships, a tradition cherished by their dedicated and loyal fans throughout the club's long and storied history.

Sheikh Fahad Talal, in turn, thanked Al-Hasawi for the honor, noting that it was expected from a sports figure who has consistently provided support and attention. He emphasized that the Al-Qadisiya Club has always been and will remain strong due to its committed members, including Fawaz Al-Hasawi, management, fans, and the general assembly.

He added that with everyone's solidarity, the Yellow Club will overcome all obstacles and difficulties, even those beyond its administration's control. This effort will require doubling their efforts, potentially up to 300%, to address the challenges faced by Al-Qadisiya players and fans due to the evident injustices against them, which are no longer hidden from anyone.
