DUBAI, UAE, Oct 7: The Al Habtoor Group has won the highly coveted ‘GCC Best Employer Brand Award 2015’ at an event which took place at the Taj Dubai, Burj Khalifa Street on Tuesday Oct 6, 2015. The event was hosted by Employer Branding Institute and Stars of the Industry Group with CHRO Asia as a Strategic Partner and endorsed by Asian Confederation of Businesses.

The ‘GCC Best Employer Brand Award’ recognises top organisations across the GCC who have ‘excellence in building the employer brand as an employer of choice.’  The UAE conglomerate was up against many local and multinational companies in the GCC for the prestigious title.

Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor, Chairman, Al Habtoor Group said, “We are pleased to be recognised and awarded by key establishments as an employer of choice. We are always trying to raise the bar and lead by example. The Al Habtoor Group employs many people in the UAE, Lebanon, Hungary, and the US, yet it feels very much like one big family.”

He added, “Our staff are the Group’s biggest assets.  We place a big focus on fostering a positive environment for our employees.  We nurture talent and provide plenty of opportunities for growth and development in order to retain key staff.”

The Al Habtoor Group is currently embarking on a massive recruitment drive. It is developing three major hospitality projects in the UAE; Al Habtoor City, a multiuse development incorporating three Starwood-branded hotels alongside three luxury residential towers in a prime location on the Dubai Water Canal.

In addition the Group is building an equestrian community in Dubai Land – the Al Habtoor Polo Resort & Club, which will include its second St Regis hotel, surrounded more than 150 luxury villas, a state-of-the art polo club and academy, luxury stables and a veterinary clinic.
