KUWAIT CITY, May 12: In a thrilling conclusion to the 2023-2024 season, Al-Fahaheel Club's table tennis team emerged victorious, claiming the prestigious Excellence Cup with 27 points, securing the top spot. Kuwait followed closely in second place with 23 points, while Al-Sahel Club secured third place with 20 points.

The season's closing ceremony, held at the Federation's headquarters in Ardiya, was graced by the presence of Sheikha Naima Al-Ahmad, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Salwa Al-Sabah Club, and Eng. Falah Al-Otaibi, Chairperson of the Table Tennis Federation.

The highlight of the ceremony was the men's singles final, where Muhammad Hamiya triumphed over Salem Al-Hassan with a convincing 3-1 victory. Preceding this, the third-place match saw Abdullah Al-Bahrani dominating Jaber Al-Balhan with a three-nil win.

Sheikha Naima Al-Ahmad commended the Table Tennis Federation's Board of Directors for their outstanding efforts, expressing satisfaction with the elevated levels witnessed in the sport. She emphasized the pride in the Federation's work and expressed hopes for continued progress in future seasons.
