Al-Baidan inspects cutting-edge sports facility at Al-Arabi Club

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 1: Yousef Abdullah Al-Baidan, the Director General of the General Sports Authority, conducted an inspection of the indoor hall complex at Al-Arabi Sports Club to assess the project’s progress. His visit aimed to evaluate the final stages of construction and development after the hall’s reconstruction, anticipating its official opening and commencement of activities. The General Director and the Construction Sector team warmly received him, along with Abdul Aziz Ashour, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab Club.

The hall, recognized as one of the most advanced covered sports facilities, comprises a main hall with three floors and international courts catering to handball, basketball, and volleyball. Additionally, it features main and auxiliary training halls, service rooms, building control rooms, medical clinics, lecture rooms, commentator cabins, and VIP visitor parking.

Expressing his admiration, the Director General commended the successful completion and execution phases of the project. The initiative is geared towards enhancing the sports infrastructure for clubs and federations at various levels, aligning with Kuwait’s preparation to host numerous tournaments on continental, Arab, and international scales in the upcoming period.
