Al-Baidan commends Al-Shamlan’s bronze medal achievement

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 26, Yousef Al-Baidan, the Director General of the Public Authority for Sports, extended his admiration for the remarkable Asian accomplishment achieved by Kuwait’s national fencing team member, Yousef Al-Shamlan. Al-Shamlan clinched the bronze medal during the 19th Asian Games held in China, marking a historic milestone as Kuwait’s inaugural medal in Asian fencing, and this feat transpired during the ongoing Masters’ edition.

In a press statement, Al-Baidan expressed his aspirations for Kuwait to continue amassing medals in the ongoing competitions, proudly hoisting the Kuwaiti flag on the podiums. He emphasized that Al-Shamlan’s bronze medal was the result of persistent dedication exhibited by the technical and administrative teams, along with the Kuwaiti Fencing Federation’s Board of Directors.
