KUWAIT CITY, Nov 19, (KUNA): The first round of the Freestyle Motor Racing Championship, organized by Kuwait Motor Sports Club, ended Friday evening at the Jaber Al-Ahmad International Racing Track amid massive crowd and strong competitions.

According to the Chairman of the club Sheikh Ahmad Al-Dawood Al-Sabah, Al-Aredhi Al-Aredhi won the first round, his partner Dhari Al-Shammari came second and Khalid Al-Badri took the third position.

He said the competitors were able to give good account of their ability and level of preparation through their high standard performances.

Al-Sabah commended the organizers for doing an excellent job, which he regarded as an indication of how far the club has reached in organizing competitions in a manner that attract praises from participants and followers.

He declared the club is using such championships to issue statements for affirming that the field of motor sports in Kuwait has advanced and it opens the door for the youth to participate professionally within the confine of law to guarantee safety and security.
