KUWAIT CITY, July 6: Al Arabi Club has announced the return of Algerian defender Sofiane Bouchard following the conclusion of his loan to Algerian club Belouizdad. Bouchard recently celebrated winning the Algeria Cup with CS Belouizdad. Al Arabi had loaned him to Belouizdad last January due to the passing of his father in November 2023, which required him to stay in Algeria.

In related news, Algerian professional Ahmed Khalidi has arrived after finalizing a one-season contract with Al Arabi. Upon joining his first training session, Khalidi expressed excitement about joining a prestigious team with a rich history and a large fan base. He is eager to perform at his best and meet the expectations of the technical and administrative staff as well as the Board of Directors.

Meanwhile, Al Arabi continues its training at the sub-field of Sabah Al-Salem Stadium, in preparation for their camp in Bosnia starting July 18. Under the guidance of coach Nasser Al-Shatti, the technical staff is focused on enhancing the players' physical fitness. The Bosnia camp will feature numerous friendly matches. Al Arabi is set to compete in the upcoming season's Asian Challenge Cup as the runner-up in the Premier League.
