KUWAIT CITY, Nov 18: In the fifth round of the basketball league, Al-Arabi aims for their second consecutive victory as they take on Al-Qurain at 5:00 pm in Al-Ittihad Hall, Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Indoor Hall Complex. Simultaneously, another matchup unfolds between Al-Qadsia and Al-Tadamon at 7:15 pm in the same venue.

The league follows a two-part combination system, with the top four teams qualifying for the semi-finals to vie for the championship title. Al-Qurain strives for its first league victory, while “Al-Akhdar,” having faced initial setbacks against Al-Kuwait and Al-Qadsia aims to overcome Yarmouk. This victory would bring them closer to securing a spot among the top four, especially after notable pre-league signings, including Hussein Al-Khabaz and Abdullah Salmin.

In the second match, the stage seems set for Al-Qadsia, leading with 8 points, to extend their advantage against Al-Tadamon, currently in seventh place with 4 points. The technical disparity between the two teams favors Al-Qadsia, especially considering that Al-Tadamon is the sole team in the league competing without professional players.
