KUWAIT CITY, Oct 1: Al-Arabi Club team defeated its Al-Jahra counterpart 2-0, while Al-Tadamon and Al-Sahel tied 1-1 in the fifth round of the Kuwaiti Football Premier League (Zain League).
At Sabah Al-Salem Stadium, Al-Arabi Club picked up its sixth point after beating Al-Jahra with two clean goals, scored by Mohammed Al-Sawla in the 72nd minute and Ali Faridoun in the 83rd minute, while Al-Jahra kept its seven points in third place temporarily.
In the other match, Al-Tadamun tied with Al-Sahel with a goal each, as the first advanced through Giovanni in the 40th minute from a penalty kick, while Al-Tadamun equalized through Samuel Sarvo in the 87th minute through a header.
Al-Tadamun's are on five points, while Al-Sahel scored its first point this season, to remain in the last place.
