CAIRO, Nov 11: Sultan Al-Anzi has joined the Kuwait training camp in Cairo, where he is scheduled to begin training today at Petro Sport Stadium. The camp runs until November 20 and includes two friendly matches against Tanzania and Gambia, set for Friday and next Tuesday. Following the camp, the team will head to Doha to face Mauritania on November 25 in the Arab Cup playoff.

The Blues began training yesterday under the guidance of Portuguese coach Helio Sousa, who is focused on preparing the players both physically and tactically ahead of the decisive clash with Mauritania.

Sousa intends to raise the intensity of training sessions to evaluate player development, ensure full understanding of the team’s tactical approach, and finalize the ideal lineup for the upcoming match.

The squad is holding both morning and evening sessions to boost overall fitness, enhance muscle strength and endurance, and refine tactical execution. The coaching staff is also emphasizing team chemistry and coordination across all lines to achieve optimal performance in the coming fixtures.
