Al-Ajwad, Hamal horses tied in 1st place

Two horses — Al-Ajwad from Al- Nashama Stable and Hamal from Al-Badeen Stable — tied in first place during the fourth round specialized for the sword of Sheikh Mubarak. These two horses finished the 2,400 meters race in 2, 34.1 minutes while the horse Mejawez from Ghazi Al-Utaibi Stable came in third. The race was part of Mubarak Al-Kabeer Equestrian Club competitions.

The horse Harba from Fahd Al- Mutairi Stable came fi rst in the third round for mixed horses of all classes. They competed for the late Sheikh Abdullah Al-Mubarak Cup in the 1,200 meters race. Horse Ambar from Al-Nashama Stable came in second place and Al-Zanati took the third position. Horse Abo Saif from Muhammad Al-Anzi Stable won the second 1,600 meters race for mixed horses followed by Ghala Nawal in second place and Mazkour in third.

Horse Wahj Al-Safenat from Hashan Al-Ajmi Stable came fi rst in the fi rst round of the Arabian Horse Cup for locally bred horses in the 1,600 meters race; whereas Saif Al-Wawan came second and Zaied was third. Sheikh Abdullah Khaled Al-Fahd, representing the family of the late Sheikh Abdullah Mubarak and General Supervisor of Mubarak Al- Kabeer Equestrian Club Khalid Al- Tayyar, honored the winners. Chairman of Arabian Horse Center (Bait Al-Arab) Ala’a Al-Roumi attended the races and he honored the winners of the fi rst round. Secretary General of Mubarak Al-Kabeer Equestrian Club Ahmed Abul and members Nasser Burseli and Ala’a Al-Sultan were also present
