Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait Sponsors Amiri Hospital’s Eighth Medical Scientific Day

Kuwait City, May 26: Within its corporate social responsibility framework and keenness to strengthen its partnership with the healthcare sector in Kuwait, Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait (ABK) recently announced its sponsorship of Amiri Hospital’s eighth Medical Scientific Day.

The event was held at the Waldorf Astoria hotel located at The Avenues and was attended by Dr. Ahmad Al-Awadhi, Minister of Health, as well as other officials from the Ministry of Health, Amiri Hospital, and public and private health sectors.

During the event, an overview of the latest progress in the medical sector was given in addition to the benefits offered to citizens of Kuwait. A discussion panel was also held where the latest healthcare developments in Kuwait were presented, emphasizing the great efforts that responsible authorities exert to secure the highest levels of healthcare for both citizens and expatriates.

Commenting on this occasion, Sager Albenali, Chief Communications Officer at ABK, said, “Participating in this initiative is a testament to the Bank’s commitment to diversifying CSR efforts across all sectors, thus contributing to enhancing our position as industry pioneers.”

He revealed that ABK places great importance on the healthcare sector and supports many of its related initiatives throughout the year. The Bank is also very keen on cooperating with the related authorities to hold informative seminars that aim to raise public awareness on precautions to prevent infections and diseases.

Moreover, Albenali expressed, “Such initiatives play a pivotal role in raising health awareness, enhancing public health, and fighting negative and unhealthy habits. ABK continues to support the Kuwaiti government’s efforts to secure the needs of citizens and residents while improving the solutions available at the local market.” He added that ABK recently launched its medical loan, offering many exclusive benefits to customers in cooperation with local hospitals and clinics.

Concluding his statement, Albenali praised Amiri Hospital’s exceptional efforts in organizing various awareness initiatives, healthcare days, and free checkups that create a positive impact in society. He affirmed, “ABK remains committed to pursuing initiatives that maintain trust across all customer segments and further enhance ABK’s position in Kuwait’s banking sector.”
