Kuwait City, August 29: Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait (ABK) recently hosted a banking awareness panel discussion workshop as part of its summer internship program for its A+ Student accountholders. This initiative was designed to enhance financial and banking literacy and promote financial inclusion while introducing the Bank’s various offerings. This affirms ABK’s continued commitment to supporting the Central Bank of Kuwait and the Kuwait Banking Association’s ‘Let’s Be Aware’ Diraya campaign across all segments of society.
Students were introduced to their various rights and duties when dealing with banks, the types of accounts, conditions for obtaining different loans, digital services, ways to combat fraud, and other campaign topics. The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation, who were keen to learn about the various benefits and offers provided throughout the year, tailored to meet their evolving needs.
The event included presentations on various campaign-related topics, highlighting ABK's dedication to promoting the campaign's awareness efforts. The Bank continues to leverage its resources to disseminate information from this pioneering campaign—the largest of its kind in the GCC—through its website, social media platforms, and mobile application.
Furthermore, ABK actively organizes numerous competitions to engage participants with the campaign and expand its reach throughout Kuwait. Specifically, this panel discussion workshop initiative endeavours to safeguard customers at a young age and help raise the standards of the banking sector.
ABK plans on hosting additional seminars and workshops to ensure that the campaign effectively reaches all customer segments throughout Kuwait. This falls under ABK's ongoing commitment to strengthening its market presence, keeping up with developments in the banking industry, and providing the best banking services, solutions, and products to all customers.
