TEHRAN (AP), Apr 7: An airstrike targeting Iran’s Alborz province, northwest of Tehran, has killed at least 18 people and injured 24 others, according to Iranian state media reports.

The judiciary-linked Mizan News Agency reported on Tuesday that the strike also left dozens wounded, though it did not provide further details on the exact location or target.

Authorities have not yet clarified what was struck in the attack.

The reported strike comes amid a broader wave of intensified airstrikes across Iran, including attacks on the capital Tehran and surrounding areas.
