Airlines await operation share in first stage to operate from Kuwait Airport

KUWAIT CITY, Jul 17: Kuwait Airways operating at Kuwait International Airport are awaiting the decision from the General Administration of Civil Aviation to operate with number of seats, trips and operating days in the first phase of operation which is limited to 10,000 passengers and 100 flights per day starting from August 1st.

The sources said that the recently circulated operating schedules are not approved, as they are awaiting for the approval of civil aviation and the scheduling of flights according to the operating share between departing and arriving flights.

Sources told Al Anba that after receiving these schedules Kuwait Airways will be in a position to address the number of trips, seats and operating days in those sectors that are intended to commercialize. These operational matters will be completed in coming days.
