MANAMA, Apr 8: Bahrain’s Interior Ministry said on Wednesday that civil defense teams had brought under control a fire that broke out at a facility targeted in an Iranian attack. The ministry said there were no injuries.
Earlier, air raid sirens were sounded across Bahrain, prompting authorities to urge citizens and residents to remain calm and move immediately to the nearest safe location.
The alert comes despite the recently announced two-week ceasefire between the United States and Iran, raising concerns about ongoing security risks in the region.
Officials have not yet provided details on the cause of the sirens, but emphasized the importance of following safety instructions and relying on official sources for updates.
The incident highlights the fragile nature of the ceasefire, as tensions remain high and the possibility of further threats cannot be ruled out.
