NEW DELHI, Mar 2: Air India Express announced that it will resume services to and from Muscat starting March 3, with scheduled flights to Delhi, Kochi, Kozhikode, Mangaluru, Mumbai and Tiruchirappalli.
The first departure from Muscat is set to operate to Tiruchirappalli at 10:25am local time (8:55am UAE time).
A spokesperson said the airline is the first Indian carrier to resume operations to and from the Gulf region under the current circumstances.
However, services to Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates remain suspended until 11:59pm IST (10:29pm UAE time) on March 3, 2026.
The Indian carrier said it has commenced its scheduled operations to all its destinations in US, Canada, Europe, and UK.
