Air Customs Seize 141,000 Lyrica Pills

KUWAIT CITY, April 10: Three postal parcels arriving from an Arab country were found to contain 141,000 capsules of the narcotic Lyrica, which were seized by customs officials at the Air Cargo Department. The capsules were disguised as cosmetics for concealment. Director of Air Customs, Mr. Mutlaq Al-Enezi, reported the seizure and stated that the case had been referred to the appropriate authorities. In response to the successful operation, Director General of the General Administration of Customs, Mr. Sulaiman Al-Fahd, commended all customs workers at sea, land, and air ports for their efforts in safeguarding the country’s security and detaining anyone attempting to tamper with it.
