The same sources pointed out this service has brought about a qualitative leap in the level of health services, especially with regard to saving lives and rushing the injured to public hospitals in record time especially when accidents happen in remote areas. The sources pointed out, the cost of the six months extension is 2.2 million dinars and that the issue has been referred to the Audit Bureau for final approval.

The sources indicated CAPT has approved the request of the Ministry of Health to import a number of medicines and medical supplies to secure the drug stock during the Corona pandemic, including the approval to supply medicines to treat allergies in all hospitals.
