KUWAIT CITY, Nov 8: The Ahmadi Governorate Security Directorate conducted a wide-ranging security campaign across several areas to apprehend residency and labor law violators, address activities that threaten public safety, and strengthen the overall security presence.
According to the Ministry of Interior, the campaign led to 97 traffic violations, the arrest of illegal street vendors, and the detention of eight undocumented workers. Authorities also recorded a case of begging, detained two individuals with expired residency permits, and made eight additional arrests involving absconders and expired residency cases. One person was arrested for violating a visa, two individuals without identification were detained, and another person found in an abnormal condition was caught with suspected narcotics. In coordination with the Kuwait Municipality, three illegal and unlicensed sites were also dismantled. The Ministry affirmed its ongoing commitment to field campaigns targeting law violators to bolster security measures, enhance community safety, and maintain public order across the country.
