Ahmadi Municipality Removes Abandoned Vehicles, Food Trucks, and Illegal Canopies

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 6: The Kuwait Municipality carried out an extensive field inspection campaign in Ahmadi Governorate on Monday to ensure full compliance with municipal laws and regulations.

Dr. Mubarak Al-Mujawb, Head of the Ahmadi Governorate Municipality team, stated during the inspection tour that the campaign aims to enhance public services, preserve the governorate’s aesthetic appeal, organize markets, and maintain overall cleanliness.

He noted that the campaign led to the removal of 13 abandoned vehicles and 4 unauthorized food trucks, in addition to the arrest of three street vendors. Inspectors from the Cleaning and Road Occupation Department also issued six violations for the illegal use of public space without a license.

Dr. Al-Mujawb added that the municipal team dismantled 11 unauthorized canopies after prior warnings were given. Meanwhile, inspectors from the Engineering Audit and Follow-up Department issued four warnings for building violations and recorded 16 violations related to advertisements.

He emphasized that inspection teams across all six governorates are committed to enforcing Kuwait Municipality’s laws and regulations through continuous field campaigns. Dr. Al-Mujawb also urged individuals and establishments to adhere strictly to municipal rules to ensure the safety, order, and cleanliness of the community.
