Ahmadi Drug Bust: 2.5kg Hashish, 2kg Marijuana and 2,500 Lyrica Capsules Seized

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 1 : The General Department for Drug Control arrested a suspect in the Ahmadi area after finding him in possession of quantities of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances allegedly intended for trafficking and personal use.

The operation resulted in the seizure of:

2.5 kilograms of hashish
2 kilograms of marijuana
200 grams of methamphetamine
2,500 Lyrica capsules
300 methadone tablets
A quantity of A4 paper saturated with chemicals
2 digital scales
A quantity of empty sachets believed to be prepared for retail packaging

The suspect, along with the seized items, was referred to the competent authorities for the necessary legal action.

The Ministry of Interior continues to intensify efforts to combat drug trafficking and prevent narcotic and psychotropic substances from reaching the community.
