KUALA LUMPUR, July 18: The Asian Football Confederation has imposed financial penalties on Saudi Arabian clubs Al Hilal and Al Nassr for multiple infractions during last season's AFC Champions League qualifying rounds.

Al-Nassr Club has been fined $30,000 by the Disciplinary Committee for incidents where their fans threw water bottles and projectiles at Al Ain players. Additionally, Al-Nassr Club faces a $15,000 fine for its players not adhering to the mixed zone protocol during the AFC Champions League quarter-final match against Al Ain.

Meanwhile, Al Hilal Club has been fined $20,000 for failing to prepare the medical room as required for its match against Iran's Sepahan, according to Article 71/1 of the regulations. Furthermore, Al Hilal Club incurred a $16,750 fine for its fans' misconduct involving throwing water bottles during the match against Sepahan.

Al Hilal Club also received a $10,000 fine for player Salem Al Dossary's failure to attend a media meeting following the match against Al Ain, UAE.

These penalties were imposed by the AFC Disciplinary Committee following investigations into various incidents during the AFC Champions League competitions.
