KUWAIT CITY, Oct 2: In the AFC Cup's third group matches, the Kuwaiti team, Al-Arabi Club, faced off against their Lebanese counterparts, Al-Najma, resulting in a scoreless draw (0-0).

During the match, Al-Arabi made several attempts to capitalize on their home advantage, launching attacks and converting opportunities into potential goals. However, their efforts were thwarted by a resolute Lebanese defense, which secured a valuable point for Al-Najma.

Following this outcome, Al-Arabi's total points in the competition now stand at four, while Al-Najma from Lebanon earned their first point in the tournament.

The third group of the AFC Cup features teams including Al-Arabi from Kuwait, the Lebanese powerhouse Al-Zawraa from Iraq, and Al-Riffa representing Bahrain.

It's worth noting that the AFC Cup, which was inaugurated in 2004, has seen Kuwait's Al-Kuwait and Iraq's Air Force as the most successful teams, both having secured three titles each.
