Adaptive policy for midday work ban

KUWAIT CITY, July 5: The Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) has confirmed its authority to amend the timing or duration of the midday work ban in open areas to align with climatic and environmental conditions. It clarified that the current work ban remains in effect from 11:00am to 4:00pm, from June 1 through August 31, and applies to all open-air work sites. The authority emphasized the importance of employers complying with the ban to reduce the risk of heat stress and protect workers from the health effects of extreme temperatures.
