Strong diplomatic presence.

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 14: The Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in the State of Kuwait, Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan, Dr. Zubidullo Zubidzoda, expressed his pride in the participation of the Diplomatic Corps and accredited diplomatic missions in the *“Kuwait Sports Day”* event, affirming that the strong diplomatic presence reflects the depth of humanitarian and social partnership between the diplomatic community and Kuwaiti society.

In a press statement issued on this occasion, Ambassador Zubidzoda noted that the participation of the Diplomatic Corps went beyond protocol attendance, representing active engagement in the sports activities and programs. This participation, he said, stems from a shared belief in the importance of sport as a way of life and from a commitment to supporting national initiatives that promote public health and quality of life.

He highlighted that what distinguished the event was its inclusive community spirit, forming a vibrant human mosaic that brought together residents of Kuwait — citizens and expatriates alike — in a harmonious scene that reflects the values of coexistence for which Kuwait has long been known. He stressed that this societal harmony is deeply rooted in Kuwait’s longstanding approach of embracing diverse nationalities and cultures within a framework of mutual respect and civilizational openness.

The Dean added that sport, in such occasions, becomes a universal human language that dissolves barriers, builds bridges of communication, and strengthens people-to-people diplomacy alongside official diplomatic relations — giving the event dimensions that extend well beyond athletics.

Ambassador Zubidzoda also linked the event to Kuwait’s national festive season, noting that the alignment of community and sports activities with the celebrations of *Independence Day* and *Liberation Day* adds a profound national and humanitarian dimension, reflecting the security, stability, and prosperity that Kuwait enjoys under its wise leadership.

On this occasion, he extended his highest congratulations and best wishes to His Highness the Amir of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah; His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah; His Highness the Prime Minister, Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah; as well as to the Kuwaiti government and the Kuwaiti people, praying for the continued security, progress, and prosperity of the State of Kuwait.

He concluded by affirming that the Diplomatic Corps will remain a supportive partner in all initiatives that enhance human well-being and promote the values of friendship and international cooperation, wishing Kuwait continued success in its development and humanitarian journey.
