KUWAIT CITY, Sept 15, (KUNA): Acting Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah witnessed the oath-taking ceremony of 14 female police graduates after completing the 11th mandatory course for civil university graduates at the Police College in Qatar. The ceremony was attended by Interior Ministry Undersecretary Maj. Gen. Abdulwahab Al-Wuhaib, Assistant Undersecretary for Support Security Services Maj. Gen. Fawaz Al-Roumi and relevant security leaders.
The Ministry of Interior said in a press statement that Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef stressed that taking the oath was a responsibility and trust requiring dedication to serving the nation, commitment to enforcing the law and safeguarding everyone’s rights. He noted that female police personnel were an essential partner in carrying out the security mission, wishing them success in their careers and service to Kuwait. Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef congratulated the graduates on completing their training and taking the oath, praising their outstanding results as a reflection of Kuwaiti women’s capabilities and commitment to their responsibilities.
He urged them to translate the knowledge and skills they had acquired into efficient, disciplined field performance and proper interaction with the public. Director of the Female Police Institute Col. Athari Al-Safi read the decision appointing the graduates to the police force with the rank of lieutenant, while Col. Staff Fatma Al-Mutairi led the oath, which the graduates repeated before Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef. The ministry said Lt. Mnwoa Anbar achieved first place in the class and in physical training, while Lt. Ritaj Khamis ranked first in discipline, reflecting the excellence, dedication and commitment of female police personnel to military training requirements. The scholarship program represents an addition to the development of Kuwait’s female police force by preparing scientifically and practically qualified personnel to perform duties in maintaining security and serving the community
