ACK participates in the second World InterUniversities Champ’ship in Rome

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 6: The Australian College of Kuwait (ACK) participated in the Second “World InterUniversities Championship — EuroRoma 2016” held in Rome, Italy.

The tournament witnessed participation from all over Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, North and South America in the four day championship with approximately 2,500 university students!

For the consecutive second year, ACK was the only university participating from Kuwait and it was represented by its male football team, female futsal team and the table tennis team.

The male football team made it to the semi-finals and played against universities from Bratislava, Madrid, Rome and Ireland.

The female team played against Roma Tre University and two universities from France, successfully reaching the quarter-finals.

As for the table tennis team, they played against Kazakhstan, China, United Arab Emirates and Italian representatives making it to the semifinals.

ACK congratulates all its athletes while encouraging them to participate in sports and health-related activities, only benefiting them in their pursuit of achieving their academic and non-academic goals.
