MoI ‘hospitality’ case hearing continues

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 3: The Criminal Court, in its recent session on the case of Interior Ministry’s Hospitality, which was earlier adjourned to summon the relevant officer, listened to the testimony of the senior accountant of Ministry of Interior. The accountant was interrogated by eight lawyers, and one of them accused him of providing fake testimony. It is worth mentioning that the lawsuit is registered as 65/2018 public fund – 18/2019 investigations crimes. It was filed against 24 employees at Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Finance for different accusations including major negligence, theft of public funds, and money laundering.
