KUWAIT CITY, Nov 7: MP Askar Al-Enezi has called on Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Khalid Al- Jarrah to approve the proposal for his ministry to accept the sons of Bedoun military personnel as protectors of the nation.
In a press statement, Al- Enezi argued the sons of Bedoun military personnel should be given the same opportunity granted to their fathers and grandfathers who served the country. He also stressed the need to stop the oppressive and unjust acts towards Bedouns whose suffering must be alleviated. He said Bedouns have been deprived of their human rights and called for providing them assistance to face difficulties in life, especially since the only place they know is Kuwait and they sacrificed a lot for the sake of the country.
