ABU DHABI, Apr 8: Two Emirati nationals and one Indian expatriate have been injured following an incident at the Habshan gas complex in Abu Dhabi, authorities said.
According to officials, several fires broke out late last night after debris from an interception fell within the facility, causing damage and triggering emergency response measures.
The injured include two citizens of the United Arab Emirates and one national of India. Their conditions have not yet been publicly detailed.
Operations at the Habshan gas complex have been temporarily suspended as precautionary measures while assessments and safety checks continue.
Authorities said further updates will be provided as investigations and recovery operations progress.
