KUWAIT CITY, Sept 28: Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait (ABK) has announced its sponsorship of Porsche Club Kuwait’s trip to Germany, reflecting its commitment to supporting youth and sporting activities on an international level as part of its corporate social responsibility programme.

This first-of-its-kind sponsorship reflects ABK’s role as a community partner. Beyond providing innovative banking and financial solutions, the Bank supports activities that create a positive, lasting impact and meet the aspirations of different segments of the community.

The trip introduced participants to the ABK Visa Infinite Advantage card and the benefits it offers for payments in Kuwait and abroad. It also included a Porsche driving experience through several well-known German cities and landmarks, as well as a special visit to the brand’s museum and main factory. A group of Porsche Club Kuwait members took part.

Commenting on the sponsorship, Sager Albenali, Chief Communications Officer at ABK, said, “We are pleased to support Porsche Club Kuwait on this exceptional trip to Germany. We believe in creating international experiences that encourage passion and excellence among young Kuwaitis.”

He added, “Our partnership with Porsche Club Kuwait reflects our commitment to delivering value to different segments of society by supporting activities that bring together sport and learning. It also reflects our confidence in the ability of young people to represent Kuwait with distinction abroad.”

He said the sponsorship demonstrates how the banking sector and civil society organisations can work together to organise distinctive events.

“Our approach to social responsibility includes creating engaging experiences that combine recreation with the exchange of ideas,” he said. “We are committed to supporting sporting initiatives and activities that deliver added value and strengthen our position as a key partner across different sectors.”

Albenali concluded, “This sponsorship builds on our longstanding partnership with Porsche Club Kuwait. We regularly sponsor its annual festival, which attracts driving enthusiasts eager to explore the latest models and designs available in the local market. We will continue to support meaningful initiatives through our corporate social responsibility programme, which covers health, sport, education and the environment, strengthening the principles of genuine community partnership in Kuwait.”
