KUWAIT CITY, Dec 30: Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait (ABK) proudly announced its sponsorship of the Arab Elite Tennis Championship, which will take place in Bahrain. This initiative is part of ABK's ongoing partnership with the Arab Tennis Federation and reflects the Bank's commitment to social responsibility and its significant interest in promoting sports activities, encouraging participation across all segments of society in Kuwait.

ABK participated in the press conference to announce the tournament awards ceremony, which featured intense competition among 22 players from several Arab countries. The event attracted a large number of fans and tennis enthusiasts from the region.

On this occasion, Mohammed Talib Behbehani, Assistant General Manager at ABK Wealth Management, stated, "We take pride in our partnership and continuous support for the activities of the Arab Tennis Federation. We are committed to sponsoring the Arab Elite Tennis Championship annually as part of our comprehensive and diverse social responsibility, with sports being one of its key focuses, given the importance it holds for all segments of society in Kuwait."

He emphasized that ABK is continuously working on developing its social responsibility, which contributes to enhancing its competitive position and increasing its presence in the local market. The Bank is keen to sponsor numerous health, educational, sports, and scientific research initiatives in collaboration with various institutions across different sectors.

Praising the efforts of the Arab Tennis Federation, chaired by Sheikh Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Behbehani commended the successful organization of this year’s Arab Elite Tennis Championship. He emphasized their commitment to continuing to participate in the championship annually, given its widespread popularity among tennis players in Kuwait and other countries in the region.

On his part, Sager Albenali, Chief Communications Officer at ABK, said that ABK will continue to develop its social responsibility program and will support all segments of society in Kuwait as part of its role as a leading responsible banking institution in the market. This role goes beyond merely providing banking and financial services to encompass meeting the diverse needs of the local community.
