ABK receives two coveted awards in Dubai – ‘Best Small Call Centre’ and ‘Best Escalation Management’

KUWAIT CITY, June 29: Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait (ABK) was recently honored at the Annual Insights Middle East Call Center Awards, where it received two coveted awards; the ‘Best Small Call Center’ and ‘Best Escalation Management’. Ms Sawsan Abdulla, Senior Manager Alternative Delivery Channels and Nawaf Al Khrayef, Call Center Manager at ABK attended the ceremony on behalf of the Bank.

The ‘Best Small Call Center’ and the ‘Best Escalation Management’ awards highlight the professionalism of the Banks people in addressing customers’ requests and issues, and the Bank’s innovative and up to date Call Center solutions and systems that allow it to efficiently manage situations that require increased awareness and swift action.

ABK has been active in rolling out a series of enhancements and developments that have transformed the Bank’s operations, which fall in line with its ‘Simpler Banking’ strategy that aims to enhance systems and procedures and ultimately offer a more superior service and a simpler banking model for its customers.

The Bank’s tremendous efforts in the past year have been recognized through a series of awards. The Bank was recently named ‘Bank of the Year’ by Arabian Business Magazine, and received the ‘Best Commercial Bank in Kuwait’ by Banker Middle East, who also named Michel Accad, ABK’s Chief Executive Officer as ‘Banker of the Year’ for his outstanding leadership and work with the Bank.

The Bank’s strategic expansion into the Egypt market through the acquisition of Piraeus Bank (PBE) was also acknowledged as ‘The Deal of the Year for Africa’ by The Banker, an FT affiliate and ABK recently received the coveted 2016 ‘Best Bank Transformation’ in the Middle East by Euromoney.
