KUWAIT CITY, Dec 21: Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait (ABK) organized its annual staff football tournament, with participation from several divisions, in a distinctive competitive atmosphere. The tournament reflects the Bank’s keenness to increase interaction among employees and bring them together outside the work environment, which contributes to enhancing their overall satisfaction.

The tournament also reflects the Bank’s commitment to breaking the routine of daily work by organizing activities that continuously renew employees’ energy, build and strengthen relationships among team members, and embody the values of commitment and teamwork.

On this occasion, Afrah Al Arbash, General Manager of Human Resources at ABK, stated that the annual staff football tournament reflects the Bank’s values, including cooperation, determination, and working as one team to achieve shared goals. She noted that the tournament is part of the Bank’s integrated plans to support social and sports activities for its employees, aiming to enhance their work-life balance.

She explained that organizing this tournament on an annual basis helps strengthen communication and cooperation among employees across different divisions in a fun environment, encourages them to exercise regularly and adopt a healthy lifestyle over time, and showcases teamwork and leadership skills.
