KUWAIT CITY, Oct 20: Abdulrahman Ibrahim Al-Houti of Kuwait’s Dar Al-Muhama Law Firm has won Law Firm Leader of the Year at the LAW.COM Middle East Legal Awards 2026.

The award comes as Dar Al-Muhama develops its contribution to legal practice through professional training, knowledge sharing and specialist collaborations that respond to the changing needs of businesses and the legal profession.

Alongside its client work, the firm’s areas of focus include legal technology and artificial intelligence, collaboration in Islamic finance, practical legal training and dialogue with in-house legal leaders.

Reflecting on the award, Al-Houti said,  “I judge our progress by what happens in the Firm itself. Have we understood what the client really needs? Have we given them advice they can use to make a decision? Is a colleague better equipped to take responsibility today than they were a year ago? Those are the questions I keep coming back to. Answering them takes sustained work.”

He added: “Every matter we handle adds to our experience. We want that experience to reach further through practical training, useful insights and collaboration with specialists. That is the direction we are taking at Dar Al-Muhama, step by step.”

Al-Houti concluded,  “I am delighted to receive this recognition, and I know how much everyday work sits behind it. I thank my colleagues for their commitment and our clients for their trust and for the difficult questions that keep pushing us to improve.”
