ISTANBUL, June 21: Kuwait’s Abdullah Al-Mansouri captured gold at the prestigious Jiu-Jitsu Grand Slam in Istanbul, Turkey, adding another international achievement to his growing list of accomplishments.
Al-Mansouri topped the podium in one of the sport’s leading globally recognized tournaments, a result that has elevated him into the international rankings among Kuwaiti jiu-jitsu athletes.
Speaking after his triumph, Al-Mansouri described the victory as a proud achievement for Kuwait on the world stage. He credited much of his success to the efforts of his coach, Abdullah Daghash Al-Hajri, and the management team of GFT KWT Samurai Club for their dedication and support in preparing him for the competition.
The gold medal continues a remarkable run of success for the Kuwaiti athlete. Earlier this year, he emerged victorious in the Teen Super Fight event held in Kuwait, further showcasing his potential and consistency.
Al-Mansouri had also previously won two gold medals for Kuwait at the AJP International Championship in Jordan, adding to an impressive medal collection earned while representing GFT KWT Samurai Club under the guidance of coach Abdullah Daghash Al-Hajri.
