KUWAIT CITY, Oct 18: The sculptor Maytham Abdal has finished designing his new artwork, to present it as a token of love and loyalty to the “Heroes of Stones,” stressing that this is the least that a Kuwaiti artist can offer to the people of Palestine in general, and to the residents of Gaza in particular.
Abdal explained to Al-Rai that the work was completed in 3 days, and clay was used as the basic material and then it will be coated with bronze to give it solidity and beauty.
He added, “With all humility, I dedicate ‘Flood of Victory’ to the heroic resistance fighters who restored the nation’s honor, pride and dignity; to the patient people on the battlefield, to our people in Palestine, to the souls of the martyrs, to everyone who protects the sanctities of Islam, and to every free person who supports the rights of the Palestinians in the face of Zionist falsehood.”
