KUWAIT CITY, Nov 12, (Agencies): On Sunday, the Legal and Financial Committee of the Municipal Council approved the proposal presented by Deputy Council Chairman Khaled Al-Mutairi regarding amending some provisions of the temporary event tent regulations.

Chaired by Fahd Al-Abduljader, the committee, during its meeting, set the license duration for event tents to one month from the date of issuance, extendable for up to three similar periods. A fee of 500 Dinars will be charged for each license issuance, and the same amount is applicable for each license renewal.

The committee also approved the proposal submitted by member Sharifa Al-Shalfan regarding the translation of municipal regulations into English. The quick completion of the translation project, presented by the Information Management Department, was emphasized.

The committee decided to retain the proposal for issuing temporary licenses for some activities during the camping season. Additionally, they preserved the presentation of the municipal budget project for the fiscal year 2024-2025 to the Municipal Council. The annual statistical report for 2022-2023 was also retained.
