KUWAIT CITY, July 8: In the first half of 2023, the General Traffic Department took strict action against traffic violations, leading to significant developments. A total of 940 juveniles were apprehended for driving their relatives' vehicles without a license and subsequently handed over to the Juvenile Prosecution.

Furthermore, the department reported a substantial number of seized vehicles and bicycles due to various traffic offenses. The reservation garage accounted for 4,034 confiscations, including 2,494 vehicles and 1,540 bicycles. Among these, 517 vehicles were found to be either stolen or associated with trust-related issues.

These measures reflect the department's commitment to ensuring road safety and addressing unlawful activities on Kuwait's streets.
